DAY 2 Montreal – Quebec (250 km). After breakfast you are collected from your hotel to pick up the motorcycle. Once the formalities are out of the way, you’re off on a gentle ride to Quebec City. DAY 3 Quebec – Tadoussac (220 km). You leave behind cosmopolitan Quebec and exchange it for the great outdoors. DAY 4 Tadoussac – Matane (200 km). Today’s ride takes you across the mighty St Lawrence seaway by ferry to the northern shores of the Gaspe Peninsula, with several imposing lighthouses. You will then cross the Matane Wildlife Reserve, and with luck your first moose. And try the shrimp, considered by many the most delectable on the planet. Hotel Belle Plage.

DAY 5 Matane – Perce (370 km). Today’s ride is one of the possibly the best on the tour, as you explore this beautiful unspoilt region. First off are the luxuriant flora and fauna of the Chic Chocs Wildlife Reserve. Then it’s Forillon Park and on to Gaspe Bay – Canada’s birthplace, ‘discovered’ in 1534 by Jacques Cartier – and finally legendary Perce Rock. Hotel Le Mirage.

DAY 6 Perce – Carleton (190 km). Allow time for a cruise to Bonaventure Island today. Then carry on round the peninsula to the picturesque port of Carleton. Francis Hotel.

DAY 10 Kingston – Niagara Falls (390 km). The ride there follows the lakeshore, before you arrive at Niagara Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Earth. And if you want to get wet, why not take a tour on the ‘Maid of the Mist’, and see Niagara from very close up? Americana Resort.

DAY 11 Niagara Falls – Toronto (130 km).

Not much riding today, but plenty of time to explore Niagara Falls and cosmopolitan Toronto. And if you want to get wet, why not take a tour on the ‘Maid of the Mist’, and see Niagara from very close up? Toronto is Canada’s financial metropolis, known as the ‘Queen City’. It has lots to offer, with great shopping, amazing museums, the CN Tower, and plenty of sporting events. Leaving urban Toronto behind, you ride through a true jewel of natural beauty, Algonquin National Park, 7700 sq. km of lakes and forests. If time allows, take a short hike or cycle ride in this wonderful landscape. Colonial Bay Resort.
