DAY 3 Quebec – Tadoussac (220 km). You leave behind cosmopolitan Quebec and exchange it for the great outdoors. First off are the luxuriant flora and fauna of the Chic Chocs Wildlife Reserve. Then it’s Forillon Park and on to Gaspe Bay – Canada’s birthplace, ‘discovered’ in 1534 by Jacques Cartier – and finally legendary Perce Rock. Hotel Le Mirage.
DAY 6 Perce – Carleton (190 km). Allow time for a cruise to Bonaventure Island today. Then carry on round the peninsula to the picturesque port of Carleton. Francis Hotel.
