The aim of our programme is to offer you a reliable, simple way of transporting your motorcycle around the world, and we have been running this service successfully for over 10 years. We will make all the arrangements for your motorcycle to be shipped, uncrated, by seafreight from the UK to Canada, the USA, Australia or New Zealand. We prepare all of the paperwork necessary for shipping your motorcycle, but you have to deal with the customs officials! The price quoted is valid for 30 days from the date of the shipping contract. Space on our cargo ships is never a problem!

How does it work?

Just deliver the bike, clean, to Southampton, with a small amount of fuel, a set of keys, and disconnect any alarms. No other preparation is necessary. Allow 4 days for loading. Transit insurance is not available, apart from Lloyds total loss cover, but you may find a broker able to help. No possessions are allowed to be taken on board, but fitted luggage is accepted if empty. Allow 9-32 days outbound to the USA, 21-60 days return, plus 4 days for loading. Allow 6-8 weeks for Australia and New Zealand. We can also arrange for you to fly to your destination where your motorcycle will be waiting for you, overnight hotel accommodation, so you can collect your motorcycle the next morning, refreshed, and the all-important travel insurance, for up to 1 year.

Please note that any return shipment has to be arranged in that country. We are unable to book that here, but you will be advised by the local office on procedures when you collect your motorcycle. Having got your motorcycle there quickly and safely, the return should hold no surprises for you.

The example prices given are only to be considered as a guide, as additional charges or reductions due to changes in the exchange rate and fuel surcharges may be imposed. Our prices include UK wharfage and handling charges, Bills of Lading, Shipping Note and Customs Declaration documents, and all document preparation. Our prices exclude any overseas handling and customs charges (average £30-50), which you may have to pay locally in cash.

You must also include one photocopy of your motorcycle registration document, passport and driver’s license. Upon receipt of your documentation, we will complete your reservation and send you instructions for delivering and collecting your motorcycle. You must also provide us with an address and phone number at your port of arrival. This address can be the hotel you are staying at your first night.
 
Please note that if you have a hire purchase agreement on your motorcycle, you must obtain a notarized written release from your hire purchase provider to temporarily take your motorcycle out of the country. This is a customs requirement and you will have to produce the permission letter.
 
We can also provide you with the necessary Temporary US and Canadian Motorcycle Insurance,as well as motorcycle insurance in Australia and New Zealand. This insurance meets all requirements for tourists – it is not available for local residents.
