Our self-guided tours are designed for riders looking for the freedom to tour at their own pace, on their own, but with the benefit of our long experience running guided and self-guided tours, and the reassurance of a detailed roadbook, prebooked accommodation, maps, travel and riding tips.

You get to choose the dates you want to travel, and we provide the bikes, the itineraries, help in planning your trip, our tourpack and extensive roadbook.

Most of our guided tours are available as self-guided tours, and we also offer a selection of shorter 8-day ‘runs’ from our most popular rental locations. So why not discover the USA using, wherever possible, good biking roads, while stay in good standard hotels and motels at very reasonable prices? And we encourage you to consider alternative routes and detours on your self-guided holiday. It’s your holiday, so let H-C Travel help you make the most of it!

All of our tours and runs are designed to be flexible, so we can add extra days into the itinerary, or help you plan days ‘off-itinerary’. And all are designed to use great biking roads through great scenery with interesting scenic or historical stops.

Your H-C Travel self-guided holiday includes:

Authorized Harley-Davidson® motorcycle rental (low mileage, under 18,000, tours only)
Eaglerider motorcycle rental (runs only)
Standard motorcycle insurance package: CDW with $5000 excess, theft insurance with $5000 excess, state minimum liability cover of typically $10,000-$50,000
Unlimited mileage
All taxes
Helmets (if requested). We strongly recommend you bring your own
Detailed tourbook including maps
Prebooked accommodation in 2-4* hotels

Please note: Accommodation may change subject to availability, especially during public holidays, rally, public event and convention dates. In such cases a hotel of equal or better quality will be provided.
