Our self-guided tours are designed for riders looking for the freedom to tour at their own pace, on their own, but with the comfort of a detailed roadbook, prebooked accommodation, maps, travel and riding tips. They are specifically designed for motorcycling, tried and tested by local riders, and designed to be both enjoyable and leisurely. And they are designed to take you through and to areas of scenic beauty and historical interest. These self-guided tours offer you a unique opportunity to discover the USA using, wherever possible, good biking roads, combined with a good standard of accommodation at very reasonable prices. We think you will enjoy these exciting tours! Distances are minimum distances per day, we encourage you to consider alternative routes and detours. Consider them either as a quick ‘fix’ of America, or as a basis to explore, the time is yours.

For our most popular rental locations we offer 1-week runs as ideal introductions to every part of the USA.

In addition we offer our popular Pacific Coast Highway ride, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, and our exclusive 2-week tours – Route 66 and the Western Cruise.

We will be happy to email you a full tour itinerary for all of these tours, and also for any tours that we have not included here.

Prices include: motorcycle hire at our all-inclusive rate, with $1 million liability insurance, CDW, unlimited miles, ELVIP insurance, theft insurance (for more information please refer to our rental pages); twin share hotel accommodation and vouchers; local transfers; taxes; extensive road book/itinerary; breakdown assistance, route maps and tourist information; luggage storage (except Route 66, Pacific Coast Ride and Canyons of the West Ride); biker’s rucsac.

Prices exclude: Flights and travel insurance, which can be arranged through H-C Travel; airport-hotel transfers; fuel and oils; meals; national park entrance fees; gratuities and other personal items.

Please note accommodation may change subject to availability. Pick up/drop off is 9-10 am. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required at pickup

Triple and quad rooms are available on request but will never have more than 2 beds.
