Walter fell in love with the place and became a resident in 1989. In the same year he founded a motorcycle garage in Chiang Mai together with his friend “Joe” Sauerborn, which also offered motorcycle rentals.
In 1994 Walter founded the oldest legally registered motorcycle tour company in Northern Thailand, and in 1995 H-C Travel teamed up with Walter to offer British riders the opportunity to discover the off-road delights of Northern Thailand.
Walter married Joang in 2001 and, in between looking after their pot–bellied pigs, she manages the business day to day. They are both committed to making your time in Thailand fun, safe, exciting and thoroughly enjoyable. We know you won’t be disappointed!
